Clips
Every recording is a clip. Select one in the Clips list and the inspector shows what you can change about it.
Finding them again
- Name and Notes are yours to write.
- Tags are comma separated, and offer the tags you have already used as you type.
- Filter by tag narrows the list to the clips with one tag.
- Drag clips to reorder them, or Sort by position to put them in game order. The order is the order they export in.
Playing one back
Preview clip plays a clip as it will export — your voice, your drawings, the inset and the scoreboard, all in step with the game. Jump to clip start takes the game video to where the clip begins, without playing the commentary.
Tidying up
- Delete, or Delete clip, deletes the selected clip. Its recording goes to a trash folder inside the project, and Ctrl+Z puts it back where it was — but only in the same session, and only until you open another project. Undo is held in memory, so quitting pundit loses it, and opening a project empties the trash of both the one you are leaving and the one you are opening. Once either happens the recording is gone for good. If you are not sure, keep the clip.
- Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z undo and redo every change to a clip.
- Right-click a clip for its menu, which also has Add to basket — see the basket.
